Maintenance Update on October 11

Dear Visitors,

Welcome to Identity V

To ensure the Manor operates smoothly, Identity V will perform server maintenance without downtime on Saturday at 08:00 (UTC+8).

This week's maintenance will be replaced by a hotfix. The hotfix will begin on October 11, 2025, at 08:00 (UTC+8), during which most of the game modes will remain available, including Quick Match, Custom Mode, Events, and Logic Path. (Note: The entrance to Ranked Match will be closed during the hotfix. However, Ranked Matches already in progress will not be affected.)
 
After 10:30 (UTC+8), players will have to exit the game to receive the latest patch. All game modes will be back online once the latest patch is installed (may be postponed should there be any issues).
 
After 11:00 (UTC+8), players who haven't installed the latest patch will be forced out of the server, and they will be able to play again after restarting the game client (may be postponed should there be any issues).

Season Essence

The Season 39 Essence 2 is now available with new costumes, including [S-rarity Costume] Lanternist - Feast on This Shore, [A-rarity Costume] Puppeteer - Striding Between Realms, and [A-rarity Costume] "Hullabaloo" - Hidden in the Night. When the number of draws reaches 80/130, you can choose either [Portrait] "Hullabaloo" - Hidden in the Night or [Portrait] Puppeteer - Striding Between Realms. Upon reaching 180 draws, you will receive [Portrait] Lanternist - Feast on This Shore.

Obtain the Survivor "Lanternist" to receive the character's exclusive Room Music—Amanda's Light Show.

New Character

Name: Amanda Gaddis

Identity: Lanternist

Character Introduction: Trained under Mr. Leroux, Amanda Gaddis became a rising star in the world of optical exhibitions—her focus fell not on pleasant vistas, but on crime scenes and murky, indistinct nightmares.

[External Trait] Living Image

The Lanternist carries a projection lantern and can freeze-frame Survivors onto an optical slide.

When freeze-framing herself, she gains Status Projection and Position Projection for 10 seconds. When freeze-framing a teammate, that teammate gains Status Projection for 8 seconds. Each teammate can be freeze-framed no more than 2 times.

If a Survivor takes normal attack damage during the freeze-frame, the freeze-frame ends early. Survivors can also end a freeze-frame manually.

When within 20 meters of a Rocket Chair with a Survivor on it, freeze-frame duration is reduced by 75%.

[Status Projection]

Survivor's condition is freeze-framed onto the optical slide. During the freeze-frame, damage from non-normal attacks (excluding the Photographer's Camera World and the Breaking Wheel's Pierce) and strong control effects will not take effect immediately, but will instead be applied instantly when the freeze-frame ends. If a Survivor takes damage during the freeze-frame, any control effect is ignored. If they were affected by multiple control effects, only the most recent one applies when the freeze-frame ends.

[Position Projection]

The Lanternist's location is also freeze-framed onto the optical slide. After activation, she leaves her body and moves in a disembodied state with a 10% faster Movement Speed. She can freeze-frame again from a new position, leaving a visible trail along the path. 

[External Trait] Static Projection

The Lanternist can freeze-frame Cipher Machines, Rocket Chairs, and the Exit Gate. While freeze-framed, Survivors can still interact with these objects at 10% increased speed. Survivors may also manually remove the freeze-frame effect.

Cipher Machine

Decoding Progress is freeze-framed onto the optical slide for 20 seconds, and all Decoding Progress made during the freeze-frame is instantly applied when it ends.

Rocket Chair

Elimination Progress is freeze-framed onto the optical slide for 5 seconds, and all Elimination Progress made during the freeze-frame is instantly applied when it ends.

Exit Gate

Exit Gate Decoding Progress is freeze-framed onto the optical slide for 20 seconds, and all Decoding Progress made during the freeze-frame is instantly applied when it ends.

[External Trait] Optical Illusion

When dropping a pallet, the Lanternist uses her projection lantern to confuse the Hunter. The pallet cannot be destroyed for 1 second. If the Lanternist is in a disembodied state, the effect lasts for 1.5 seconds. This can only trigger once every 10 seconds.

[External Trait] All Thumbs

The Lanternist suffers from hypersomnia. Her drowsy mind reduces her Decoding Speed by 10%. 

Secondary Password Optimization

The Secondary Password toggle has been updated. Sub-function toggles are now independently controlled. Visitors can go to [Settings] - [Security] - [Secondary Password Settings] to adjust these options.

Added a Secondary Password toggle for friend requests (this toggle is disabled by default and can be enabled as needed).

Added a Secondary Password toggle for channel chat, private chat with friends, and team chat functions (this toggle is disabled by default and can be enabled as needed).

Scribbled Ideas

[Survivor (Substitute)], [Hunter (Substitute)], Survivor, and Hunter now have new action options: sitting on a chair and sitting on the ground.

Editor Optimization: Improved the interaction logic of the component library and Advanced Settings interfaces, and added features such as scrollbars and one-click scroll to top/bottom for easier navigation.

All font-related Advanced Settings now include a [Default] font option, which is the standard font used for in-game text.

Leaderboard Adjustment: Added a minimum map rating requirement. This change may affect maps currently listed on the leaderboard.

Bug Fixes

Fixed an issue where auto-attacks would fail after using the Dream Elixir.

Fixed an issue where Enhancements that increase hitbox did not expand the Wooden Blade's dash hitbox.

Fixed an issue where Souls could not vault pallets in Synesthesia Mode.

Fixed an issue in Copycat mode where switching to the background during the voting phase of the Emergency Meeting might result in incorrect voting targets.

Fixed an issue in Copycat mode where the Hypnotist's manually triggered camera follow might change the hypnotized target.

Fixed an issue in Copycat mode where climbing ladders in the Golden Cave might skip animations in certain situations.

Fixed an issue where the Meteorologist could use Stratus to fly inside the butcher shop building in Chinatown.

Fixed an issue in Copycat mode where some Contestants' actions might change upon completing deduction requirements.

Fixed an issue in the "Palace Treasury" Public Map where using the Hunter transformation might cause camera anomalies.

Fixed an issue in the "Palace Treasury" Public Map's dance creation feature where resetting the dance would also reset the dance name.

Fixed a frame drop and stuttering issue with the skill effects of the [S-rarity Accessory] Wu Chang - Endless Crossing.

Fixed an issue where the Wildling's Wildling Partner's howl progress display was abnormal in Spectator Mode.

Fixed an issue where the Peddler might not be silenced when using vines to pull themselves through the area affected by the Acrobat's Fire Bomb.

Fixed an issue where the Archer's position might become abnormal after using the Crossbow in specific locations in Moon River Park and Lakeside Village.

Fixed an issue where the Entomologist's Swarm of Insects might fail to push the Hunter at certain angles.

Fixed an issue where the Novelist could use Metaphor on a Hunter being propelled or attracted by a Magnet, causing the Novelist's position to become abnormal after the Metaphor ended.

Fixed an issue where the performance of the 【S-rarity Costume】 Wu Chang - Verdant Realms Unfurled was abnormal when using the Emote - Memories under certain circumstances.

Fixed an issue where the Dream Elixir might become ineffective when used simultaneously with an active skill.
