To ensure smooth operation, Identity V will issue a hotfix on Thursday at 08:00 (UTC+8).
This week's maintenance will be replaced by a hotfix. The hotfix will begin on November 6, 2025, at 08:00 (UTC+8), during which most of the game modes will remain available, including Quick Match, Custom Mode, Events, and Logic Path. (Note: The entrance to Ranked Match will be closed during the hotfix. However, Ranked Matches already in progress will not be affected.)
After 10:30 (UTC+8), players will have to exit the game to receive the latest patch. All game modes will be back online once the latest patch is installed (may be postponed should there be any issues).
After 11:00 (UTC+8), players who haven't installed the latest patch will be forced out of the server, and they will be able to play again after restarting the game client (may be postponed should there be any issues).

Copycat Mode now falls under the Secondary Password protection. Players with this feature enabled must verify their password each time before entering the game.
Scribbled Ideas
The [Counter] component now follows a new rule: it will reset the count and trigger an event.
The Lanternist is now available in Scribbled Ideas.

Experience Improvements
Added a new random team option to Enchanted Forest Custom Mode.
Optimized the reward claiming process for the Character Day event. When claiming a specific task reward, all available task rewards will now be distributed at once.
Adjusted the numerical requirements for certain Character Day tasks. The reward for the task requiring 15 minutes of online time has been changed to 2 Well-Wishing Bouquets.
Improved the editing experience for Character Day Keepsake Cards, including better photo adaptation effects and enhanced text box zoom functionality.
Optimized the photo system in the Public Map. Survivors can now pause while using crouching and performing Emotes.
Optimized the costume interface when entering the Public Map from the Room or Lobby while in a team. When the team leader exits, the team will no longer be disbanded.
Bug Fixes
Fixed an issue in Copycat mode where interacting with sculptures in White Sand Street Asylum caused abnormal behavior in certain situations.
Fixed an issue where the Feaster's Tier II Nightmare Gaze allowed Tentacles to ignore collisions and hit Survivors when they pull down pallets.
Fixed an issue in the Public Map where costume animations appeared abnormal from other players' perspectives when pausing Emotes during photo sessions.
Fixed an issue where the "Cueist's" animations failed to loop after using CHOCO's Shopping Time in the Room.
Fixed an issue where the Decoding Progress displayed in the results page and in the Records was inconsistent with the actual in-game Decoding Progress in certain cases.
Fixed an issue where The Breaking Wheel's charged attack using the auxiliary Trait Warp displayed abnormal animations.
Fixed an issue where adjusting the interface spacing with the screen edges could cause the crosshair position to be abnormal in Enchanted Forest mode.
