This week's maintenance will be replaced by a hotfix. The hotfix will begin on September 30, 2026, at 08:00 (UTC+8), during which most game modes and features will remain available, including but not limited to: Quick Match, Custom Mode, Events, and Logic Path. (Note: The entrance to Rank will be closed during the hotfix. However, Ranked Matches already in progress will not be affected.)
After 10:30 (UTC+8), players will have to exit the game to receive the latest patch. All game modes will be back online once the latest patch is installed (may be postponed should there be any issues).
After 11:00 (UTC+8), players who haven't installed the latest patch will be forced out of the server, and they will be able to play again after restarting the game client (may be postponed should there be any issues).

Identity: "Prodigy"
Character Background: To earn a fragile sense of belonging, he obeyed every "family member's" wish and lied for them, becoming the false miracle's quietest accomplice.
[External Trait] Compliance Test
"Prodigy" plays his harmonica to command his Hamster to create and move dirtballs. As a dirtball rolls, it grows larger and leaves a trail for 5 seconds. Hunters standing in the trail gain 8 Grime per second. "Prodigy" can strike a dirtball to launch it. When a dirtball hits an object or character, it Ruptures and creates a Rupture Area. Larger dirtballs also knock Hunters back based on their size. A Hunter's Normal Attacks and offensive abilities can hit stationary dirtballs and large moving dirtballs, causing them to Rupture. Other Survivors can destroy stationary large dirtballs, reducing them to their smaller form. When a dirtball's durability reaches 0, it shrinks as it rolls until it disappears.
Grime
When Grime reaches 100, his Hamster overwhelms the Hunter, rendering them unable to act. Grime cannot increase again for 10 seconds. If Grime has not increased for 8 seconds, it decreases by 15 per second.
Rupture
When a dirtball hits an object or character, Hunters within 1.5–3 meters of the Rupture gain 30–75 Grime based on the dirtball's size. The Rupture creates a Rupture Area lasting 10 seconds, with a radius of 1–2 meters. Hunters inside gain 18 Grime per second and suffer a 55% Movement Speed reduction for 1.5 seconds. When a dirtball ruptures after being struck by a Hunter, its maximum size is reduced by 60%/40%, depending on whether the attack deals at least as much damage as a Normal Attack, and Hunters in range gain 35 Grime.
[External Trait] Kinesthetic Learning
When the dirtball reaches a large size, "Prodigy" and his Hamster work together to enter Pushing State. While in this state, "Prodigy" can leap onto the dirtball to enter Performance State.
Pushing State
With the help of his Hamster, "Prodigy's" Movement Speed increases to 3.92 meters per second. However, the dirtball reduces his turning speed.
Performance State
In Performance State, "Prodigy's" Movement Speed is fixed at 3.8 meters per second. He can control the dirtball as it rolls over pallets, through windows, and off high ground, but doing so reduces 15% of the dirtball's maximum size. A Hunter's Normal Attacks and certain abilities prioritize hitting the dirtball. "Prodigy" can leap off the dirtball at any time to return to Pushing State.
[External Trait] Deception
Deception and disguise have become "Prodigy's" instincts for survival. As a result, he struggles to trust others and earn their trust. When healing another Survivor, the chance of triggering a calibration check increases by 50%.

During the crossover, the maps for A Bringer of Doom on Beginner, Easy, Normal, Hard, and Nightmare difficulties will feature various 故宫观唐 crossover Classics, including Gold Cup with Jewelry Inlay: Eternal Territorial Integrity, Painted Enamel Butterfly-shaped Box, Gilt-bronze Pastoral Scene Water Clock, Twin Vase in Floral Designs in Enamel, and Bamboo Compartment Tray.
After obtaining the Gold Cup with Jewelry Inlay: Eternal Territorial Integrity, players can use Calligraph three times, receiving a random buff each time. Possible buffs include:
In Clear Sight: While the Blessing is active, you can see through Containers within a certain range nearby. (Does not take effect in the Endgame or outdoors.)
A World at Peace: While the Blessing is active, you can trigger a one-time teleport to a safe area in a moment of crisis. (Does not take effect in the Endgame or outdoors.)
Ten Triumphs: While the Blessing is active, Normal Attacks with melee weapons also gain a ranged effect. (This buff can only be obtained in Survivor mode.)
Heavenly Treasury: While the Blessing is active, your next opened container grants an additional Classic.
Eternal Integrity: Once you obtain all Blessings, their effects remain active until the end of the exploration, with no limit on the number of uses. The "Gold Cup with Jewelry Inlay: Eternal Territorial Integrity" will no longer accumulate Tusu Wine.
After obtaining the Eternal Integrity buff or using Calligraph three times, the Gold Cup with Jewelry Inlay: Eternal Territorial Integrity will stop gaining Tusu Wine. Interacting with it again will trigger a special Easter egg scene.

Experience Improvements
Adjusted the protection period for picking up Classics from other players. When exploring as a team, players now have a 1-second protection period when picking up Classics from one another. The protection period remains unchanged when players are not in a team.
Added a new [Events] system to Cryptic Notes, making it easier for players to find and participate in related events.
Added new random layouts to [A Bringer of Doom] on Nightmare difficulty.
Moved the [Daily Check-In] and [Daily Tasks] pages to the [Events] page and improved their visual presentation.
Renamed the [Shop] in Cryptic Notes to [Store].
Added a Metaphor display feature to player profiles in Cryptic Notes.
When a player triggers Chance Narrative and smashes a vase, a Cursed Sapphire that drops will be accompanied by more prominent visual effects.

Penalties for Violations
It has recently come to our attention that a small number of players have violated our Code of Conduct through delaying tactics, match-fixing, maliciously taunting the Hunter, intentionally losing, idling, playing negatively, using cheats, cheating in Blackjack mode, obstructing matchmaking in top-ranked matches, cheating in Copycat mode, displaying aggressive attitudes, using extreme language, and creating maps in Scribbled Ideas that violate our Creator Agreement—all of which significantly affect the experience of other players. We have begun issuing penalties for these violations in order to provide a healthy gaming environment for everyone. We also encourage you to use the in-game reporting system when encountering any of the behaviors above. Let us work together to maintain order and integrity in the Manor.
