Cryptic Notes
Background Story
Another manuscript by "Orpheus," Phosphorescence Disease, quietly unfolds. A contract promising a generous reward leads a new expedition team to a mine shunned by the locals. The explorers never imagined that this silent, abandoned shaft was once home to an underground tribe that lived there for generations. Scattered clothing and severed machine parts tell of what happened long ago, while the missing investigator's notes point toward a deeper darkness. Following the faint glow into the depths, the expedition team will uncover the long-buried secret behind Phosphorescence Disease.
New Map
The new map [Phosphorescence Disease] is now available, with three difficulty levels: [Normal], [Hard], and [Nightmare].
In an unknown region where darkness and dim light intertwine, undiscovered resources and secrets await. Step inside, and explorers will face an entirely new environment and map mechanics. With limited visibility, special resources, and interactive facilities scattered across the map, search for your objectives, plan your route, and escape before the danger becomes too much to bear.
This tests not only an explorer's ability to find resources, but also the team's judgment on routes, timing, and rewards. Enter the unknown, gather precious resources, and find your way out through the gloom.
New Gameplay Mechanics:
Mine Tunnel:
During exploration, explorers may discover inactive [Mine Tunnels].
Collect [Machinery Parts] from the map and activate Mine Tunnels to unlock additional extraction routes, giving explorers more options.
Vein Energy:
Explorers can observe the glowing ores on the ground to determine whether the ore vein still has energy.
Vein energy affects certain [Lodestone Channels]. As explorers continue extracting [Rare Ores], the vein's energy will gradually run out. The lodestone may lose its power and fall, making the Lodestone Channel impassable.
Monitor the vein and adjust your route as the channels change.
Nightmare Difficulty Mechanic: Phosphorescence Disease
When exploring the second underground level or deeper in the mine, explorers will contract [Phosphorescence Disease]. The disease worsens over time, and infection progresses faster at greater depths. [Phosphorescence Disease] has three infection levels.
Finding and interacting with scattered [Remedite Grinders] reduces infection by one level.
Plan your exploration routes carefully. Gather resources deeper in the mine while keeping your infection level under control.
The current version only includes [Survivor Mode]. [Hunter Mode] will be released in a future version.
New Classics
Added the following Classics as potential drops in this update:
[B-rarity]: Mineral Pigment, Spinel's Investigation Notes, Pickaxe, Starting Signpost, and Symbiotic Ore.
[A-rarity]: Moonlight Medal, Remedite Marrow, Stele of Law, Fallen Star, Mechanical Prosthetic, and Arc Light: Phosphor (Used for reforge).
[S-rarity]: Pendant of the Red-tailed Hawk, Nunnehi's Protection, Echoes of Appalachia, and Scepter of Benediction.
Added a new Exquisite Classic: Mthura Core.
When an explorer obtains their first Exquisite Classic, Mthura Core, they can appraise it. Mthura Core has a chance to be appraised at a higher value and receive a new appearance.
In addition, after obtaining the Exquisite Classic, Mthura Core, explorers can use it from their inventory to summon falling rocks that deal massive damage to all Anomalies in the area. When conditions are met, it can also generate floating platforms for explorers to stand on.
Carrying the Mthura Core can temporarily reshape paths severed by depleted vein energy.
New Class
Name: Guardian
Active Ability: Safeguard
Possess an ally within range. Either you or the possessed ally can manually end the effect. While possessing an ally, use Scry, Vanquish, or Suppress to scout unexplored rooms, automatically target and attack enemies, or repel anomalies.
Passive Ability: Methodical
The possessed ally's Stamina recovers 20% faster, Stamina is consumed 20% more slowly, and Cooldown Recovery is increased by 50%.
Passive Ability: Devotion
When Possession ends, grant yourself and the possessed ally a bonus based on the currently selected ability.
While possessing an ally, the Guardian can pick up Items and Classics as usual without affecting the ally's carry weight.
When the possessed ally performs certain teleport actions, the possession ends.
New Anomaly
Hoarder Effigy
The Hoarder Effigy prowls through secluded corners, stealing anything of value and refusing to shed its ever-growing burden. Guard your pack carefully. It will always find a way to take something from you.
Phosphorescent Ossuary
Phosphorescent Ossuary may lie dormant in swarms, awakening without warning when prey draws near. Others wander alone, their heavy footsteps echoing through the mines.
Phosphorflame
Fed by ore, it burns without end, casting light along a path whose destination no one knows. Keep your distance from the Phosphorflame, and never step into the phosphor fire it leaves behind.
Patchwork Thespian
Patchwork Thespian waits upon the stage, inviting you to witness her performance as she desperately tries to prove that she is unique. Those who wander alone have already lost the thread of memory. Yet only a solitary spectator can see her figure.
Hooded Shade
It lurks in every shadow. When you peer into the darkness, something peers back. Shrouded in black mist, the Hooded Shade is difficult to strike. Use intense light to force it into view.
Anomaly Name: Hoarder Effigy

Penalties for Violations
It has recently come to our attention that a small number of players have violated our Code of Conduct through delaying tactics, match-fixing, maliciously taunting the Hunter, intentionally losing, idling, playing negatively, using cheats, cheating in Blackjack mode, obstructing matchmaking in top-ranked matches, cheating in Copycat mode, displaying aggressive attitudes, using extreme language, and creating maps in Scribbled Ideas that violate our Creator Agreement—all of which significantly affect the experience of other players.
